I’m Charlie Morgan, and I have been a professional session drummer since 1973. While I am probably best noted for being Elton John’s drummer for 13 years, I have worked with Kate Bush, Tracy Ullman, Nik Kershaw, Meatloaf, Cher, Billy Joel, Henry Mancini, Luciano Pavarotti, John Jorgenson, Barry Manilow, and many, many others.

When I record a drum session for you, it will be no less than what I would provide to the biggest names in the business. I’m a perfectionist and a pro. There’s no messing around with things being “not quite right”. Your project with me will be completed with the utmost timeliness and professionalism.

I will record your tracks in my Nashville, Tennessee studio working with a click track and file (mp3/AIFF/WAV) provided by you. Tell me what sort of flavor you’re looking for, from straight-on rock to something more exotic, or let me listen to your track and we can discuss various options.

STEP 2: Send me...
To track your recording, I will need a stereo drumless mix for me to play to (preferably either hi-fi MP3 or WAV/AIFF file) with at least 1 bar of click at the beginning (for synch purposes). I play drums to that track and send you a rough stereo drum mix. Also, make sure I know the title of your song(s), the tempo and style, as well as the format you would like the final product to be in. (WAV/AIFF, 48k/44.1k, 16 or 24 bit etc).
STEP 3: Approve the track...
I will send your track back to you in a “low-fi” version for your approval. I’ll also send an invoice via paypal. Once you reply to the paypal request, I will email a link to download the high resolution drum track to incorporate into your studio mix.
